Vision 2020 Values The Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce is commited to: Results Chamber involvement results in tangible accomplishments with clear links to economic and other community benefits. Regionalism The Chamber believes community benefits accrue to Eugene city and to the greater area when any one part of the region succeeds economically. The Chamber champions, supports and leads efforts to increase the economic health of the “greater Eugene area”. Community The Chamber views their economic development efforts as community economic development strategies. The Chamber endeavors to understand competing perspectives around economic development issues in its efforts to produce results. Communication The Chamber will champion the contributions of a vital economy to our quality of life and actively educate the business community on issues and opportunities important to their success. Alignment The Chamber believes greater momentum and return-on-investment results when multiple stakeholders align around common economic issues and interests. The Chamber consciously identifies where alignment exists and works to leverage that alignment into results. Collaborative Leadership The Chamber provides visible, active leadership on economic issues. The Chamber is uniquely qualified to serve in a convener role around areas of economic importance. The Chamber will increase emphasis on serving as a facilitative leader, helping build clear pathways to action to realize opportunities and solve problems and to actively address emerging economic issues in a collaborative way.
